Biography
Ben Williamson is a Chancellor’s Fellow based in the Edinburgh Futures Institute and the Centre for Research in Digital Education at the University of Edinburgh. His last book was Big Data in Education: The digital future of learning, policy and practice (Sage, 2017). He is currently researching data infrastructures and digital platforms in higher education, and how data-intensive technologies in psychology, neuroscience and genomics are mobilized to produce new knowledge about education and learning.
